So what's next?

So what is next on the agenda for our home? The past month we have been through the ringer. My husband was put on Blood Pressure meds, we had to shell out so much money on my car and now we are shelling out more money for our oldest Daughter for Allergy shots which she starts tomorrow morning bright and early. Not only that, she is also on a nasal spray which the kind she was put on is pricey not to mention Zyrtec which isn't cheap by any means as well and the wrost of it all, my FIL found out that he has cancer. We are very devistated and saddened by this news. Im an just praying that he will be cured. The good news, my littlest one turned 2 a week ago. I am saddened by the fact that I do not have any little tiny babies in the house. Oh how I wish I did. I really miss it. But I am blessed and thankful for the wonderful two that I do have. So do you like the new look?? I am going to clean up abit and maybe add something new. My trip to Laguna has been canceled for now. Too much stuff going on and too little time, so no time right now for a trip. But I am still young so hopefully in the near future I will find the time to go.

On Hold

So my weight loss journey is on hold for now. Don't get me wrong. I am still going to try my best to eat healthy but I'm not going to try so hard. You see, I have PCOS. I am Insulin Resistant or Hypothyroid but my Testosterone levels are really out of control. That's where my weight is coming from. It's like Im walking into a health food store and coming out with a bottle of testosterone and taking it. I have been having trouble's with my meds for the past year or so. I finally broke down and went to a new doctor. He put me on different meds hoping to control my levels. He also told me that once I get my levels under control I should be able to loose more weight. So I am on hold for now, hoping my meds work. I have read on the internet that alot of woman have lost wieght on these meds so we will see. It's so frustrating.

Down 2 pounds

Yesterday was weigh in Wed which I did not have a chance to blog yesterday but I am down 2 pounds this week with a total of 9 pounds lost. Of course, it wasn't as much as last week but I figured that it was all water weight. But I will take 2 pounds. So much better than 0. My goals this week are to keep on striving, drink my daily intake of water, count my points and add extra activity to my day.

It also helps that in March my trip to Laguna Beach is coming up and I want to look great instead of a big ole blob out on that beach. That motivates me.

Nothing this time

So I weighed today since Wed and I am still at 217. I guess 3 days doesn't make a difference much but still, I just want all this weight off. This week Im going to exercise more and take in more water that I have been. I haven't been getting in my water intake that WW said I should. I wanted to get discouraged today and just eat my heart out but I only used some of my WAP but I am going to make up for it by adding more AP this week. Im also going to try not to weigh as much. Im going to try to atleast wait till my next weigh in and see how that goes. Wish me luck!

I DID IT!!!!!!! Today is weigh in Wed and I am down to 217. 7 pounds gone!!! I am so proud of myself for sticking to it! Now, I just have to get through the rest of the 67 pounds! It has been a Little challenging! Esp. when I have wanted those second helpings or I am out of my points for the day and I still want something good to eat! Or my Mt. Dews! My main goal this coming week it to exercise more. And to not get discouraged.

This show has got to be the best show, EVER!! I just can't get enough. I have watched every single season and I hope they continue to make more. When I take my trip in March to Laguna( Oh Yeah, OC here I come) I most defiantly will come back broke. Ok, Im off to check on selling Real Estate and maybe look into an exercise class to loose this flab before my trip. I have to fit into the clothes somehow.

You need four maxi pads to make a pair.
Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part.
The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top.

Christmas around the corner

I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner. Got your shopping done yet?? Not I. I did go out on Black Friday and got some great deals but I have yet to finish. I don't know what's wrong with me this year. Usually I am almost done by this time and I usually finish up on Black Friday. It seems that I'm just not into the spirit of Christmas yet. Maybe it's because we have been fighting sickness after sickness for the past 3 months and I just haven't felt the spirit of it. We did have a great Thanksgiving, just being with family and friends. We didn't forget to count our blessings and be thankful for the things we have. I am glad that it is over though. I'm hoping to find some good recipes for some Holiday baking. I'm thinking maybe that will do the trick to get myself out of this funk. I did manage to get the tree up Thanksgiving night. My youngest is fascinated with it. At least the kids are enjoying it. Well I'm off to see what I can find for recipes.

New Look

Love the new look??? It goes along right with this new post since I have not posted since 3 months ago! Jasmine started K-4 and is doing wonderful. I am proud of her. She turned 4 last month. WOW, where did the time go? They grow up so fast. She loved every bit of her Birthday. What she loved the most?? Her new Ride on Gator of course!! She rides it every day(weather permitted of course) after school. I watch her ride and I think of the driving lessons she will need at 16. lol! We have been batteling sickness here from all the junk that Jasmine has been bringing home from school! I have spent more money on Meds in the last months than I ever have! It is CRAZY!! Im glad that it is Fall now. My favorite time of the year. And I im looking forward till Halloween. Favorite Holiday with the add of my Dad's Bday as well! Im looking forward to our last trip to the Lake the first week of November before Winter. Remember, no worries. Plenty here for sure.

Been so long

Wow, it's been too long that I have blog. I have no clue what has been wrong with me. I have been in this funk I guess. I get on the computer and just check certain websites, read them and then Im done. Heck I have been in a funk of wanting to clean the house everyday. I'll lazy around for alittle while and then jump up and rush to get things done before I am ready to put supper on the table. We got a pool about a month ago and it has been great. The girls love it and have a blast swimming. Jasmine will start preschool this year. k-4. And I am happy and sad about it to say the least. I am a SAHM and I am use to her being here with me. She has never been in that type of setting before. Im really worried how she will do. It also reminds me that she is almost 4 and these past 4 years have flew by. It seems just like yesterday that we were driving through hurricane Ivin(yup, that's right a hurricane)to get to the hospital. Took us awhile but we made it all in one piece. We are leaving Friday heading to the lake for the weekend. Always a joy when the whole family goes(IL's, cousins,etc)We have a blast and I try not to have to many worries about anything and just enjoy myself and get the relaxing that Mamma always needs. :O)

My Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day! I got a pedicure and My husband took me out to eat the Friday night before, Sat he took me shopping which I got a real deal, 2 outfits for 55.00, Cha Ching!!!!! Sunday, I went to eat Lunch with my mom which also give me a break from the kids for alittle while! Then that evening, we went to the IL'S and all had a great dinner! Can't get better than that!

1) NUDITY I was driving with my three young children one warm summer evening when a woman in the convertible ahead of us stood up and waved. She was stark naked! As I was reeling from the shock, I heard my 5-year-old shout from the back seat, "Mom! That lady isn't wearing a seat belt!"***********

2) OPINIONS On the first day of school, a first-grader handed his teacher a note from his mother. The note read, "The opinions expressed by this child are not necessarily those of his parents." ***********

3) KETCHUP A woman was trying hard to get the ketchup out of the jar.
During her struggle the phone rang so she asked her 4-year-old daughter to answer the phone. "Mommy can't come to the phone to talk to you right now. She's hitting the bottle." ***********

4) MORE NUDITY A little boy got lost at the YMCA and found himself in the women's locker room. When he was spotted, the room burst into shrieks, with ladies grabbing towels and running for cover. The little boy watched in amazement and then asked, "What's the matter, haven't you ever seen a little boy before?" ***********

5) POLICE # 1 While taking a routine vandalism report at an elementary school, I was interrupted by a little girl about 6 years old. Looking up and down at my uniform, she asked, "Are you a cop?" Yes," I answered and continued writing the report. "My mother said if I ever needed help I should ask the police. Is that right? "Yes, that's right," I told her. "Well, then," she said as she extended her foot toward me, "would you please tie my shoe?"***********

6) POLICE # 2 It was the end of the day when I parked my police van in front of the station. As I gathered my equipment, my K-9 partner, Jake, was barking, and I saw a little boy staring in at me "Is that a dog you got back there?" he asked. "It sure is," I replied. Puzzled, the boy looked at me and then towards the back of the van. Finally he said," What'd he do?"***********

7) ELDERLY While working for an organization that delivers lunches to elderly shut-ins, I used to take my 4-year-old daughter on my afternoon rounds. She was unfailingly intrigued by the various appliances of old age, particularly the canes, walkers and wheelchairs. One day I found her staring at a pair of false teeth soaking in a glass. As I braced myself for the inevitable barrage of questions, she merely turned and whispered, "The tooth fairy will never believe this!"***********

8) DRESS-UP A little girl was watching her parents dress for a party. When she saw her dad donning his tuxedo, she warned, "Daddy, you shouldn't wear that suit." "And why not, darling?" "You know that it always gives you a headache the next morning."***********

9) DEATH While walking along the sidewalk in front of his church, our minister heard the intoning of a prayer that nearly made his collar wilt. Apparently, his 5-year-old son and his playmates had found a dead robin. Feeling that proper burial should be performed, they had secured a small box and cotton batting , then dug a hole and made ready for the disposal of the deceased. The minister's son was chosen to say the appropriate prayers and with sonorous dignity intoned his version of what he thought his father always said: "Glory be unto the Faaaather, and unto the Sonnn, and into the hole he gooooes."***********

10) SCHOOL A little girl had just finished her first week of school. "I'm just wasting my time," she said to her mother .. "I can't read, I can't write and they won't let me talk!" ***********11) BIBLE A little boy opened the big family bible. He was fascinated as he fingered through the old pages. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible. He picked up the object and looked at it. What he saw was an old leaf that had been pressed in between the pages "Mama, look what I found," the boy called out. ; ; "What have you got there, dear?" With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered, "I think it's Adam's underwear."

What a GREAT weekend!

We had a great weekend! Friday night we went out to eat at Chili's which I just love this restaurant! The food was great and the kids was on their best behavior! Jimmy and I hardly ever get to just go out to eat and spend time together since the weekends are so busy getting things done around the house that needs to be done that we just don't have time to do during the week since he works so much and I'm taking care of the kids. Saturday, I had a little break from Jasmine. My mom came and got Jasmine and my parents spent a little time with her. Jimmy had to do some things for my Father, so it was just Kendall and I and it sure was quit around here! We listened and sung songs and danced silly! I'm sure she enjoyed it because they never get one on one quality time with mom! Saturday night we went to the IL's house and hung around there for awhile which is was quit as well since I wasn't having to run Jasmine. And she gets wild when she is around her cousins. Today, I didn't get much around here with having to deal with the stupid Dental Insurance company because some dingbat can't code and do their job the right way. Thank goodness it was fixed though. So, Jasmine got a new turtle sandbox today! My dad brought it by this afternoon and she just adores it. From the time she got it till dark, she came in one time for supper and back out the door she was to the sandbox. Something new to keep her occupied for the time being. After she came in, there was sand everywhere in the floor and embedded in her head that I had to scrub out. What a mess it was. So, Thanks be to Mom and Dad for the lovely gift!

First Blog

So, Im sitting here trying to figure out what this blogging is really for anyways, since this is my first post? What do I write about or talk about that would so intresting for others who would want to read?? Hmm, I am a SAHM to 2 beautiful girls that fullfill my days and make my life rich. I have the best Husband in the world, that I couldn't ask for any better. And my girls have to best father who they just adore. Well more than me anyways. I have wonderful family who are there for us anytime we need them. I don't have many friends, I guess you could say. I feel that my time is better for me to be with my family than out and about with friends, so I guess that's why I just don't make many. Who cares though. I have the best life anyone could ask for. I may not be rich finacially nor material wise but I take a look around and see what I have, Unconditional love, and that makes me more rich in ways than I could ever explain. I LOVE MY LIFE!!
